What will you be doing:

We are looking for an experienced, talented, and compassionate Director of Hospice for a full-time position located in our Norwell office.

The Director of Hospice is responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the department including growth and financial performance. You will provide quality leadership that supports the mission, strategy and business objectives of our organization. The Director of Hospice establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote our standards of quality and contribute to the total growth of the organization.

• Superior leadership, interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, problem-solving and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical ability.
• Proficient computer skills; Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
• Working knowledge electronic medical record required, Brightree / MatrixCare a plus.
• Handle work under pressure.
• Adhere to the Norwell VNA Corporate Compliance Program in the prevention of fraud and abuse.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• 8 years community health experience.
• 5 years of Management and Supervisory experience.
• Recent Hospice experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospice regulations and eligibility required.
